QR tag · Business card · Emergency

The easiest way to be reachable.

Stick the tag on your car, your belongings or your business card. Whoever scans it opens your card without an app and can notify you without seeing your number. You decide what your card shows.

Notifications sent from the sample card reach nobody.

  • No app needed to scan
  • Free app, no subscription

One tag, four different jobs.

The same tag solves a different problem depending on where you stick it. You choose what your card shows to match.

  • Car

If your car is blocking the way, has its lights on or has been in an accident, whoever scans the tag can notify you without seeing your number.

Where: Inside the windscreen, in the upper corner on the passenger side, clear of the driver’s view.

    Notify owner
  • Motorcycle and helmet

After a crash, whoever scans the tag sees the emergency details you chose to show and can call the relative you added.

Where: The back of the helmet or a visible spot on the motorcycle.

  • Business card

Show your photo or logo, your title and your social accounts on one page. If your number is visible, people can save you to their contacts.

    What you share

Ready in three steps.

  1. 1

    Scan the QR code

Scan the QR code on your tag with your phone camera. Your card opens in the browser.

  2. 2

    Add it to your account

Accept the privacy policy and terms of use. Once you verify your number with an SMS code, the card is tied to your account and only you can edit it.

  3. 3

    Add your details

Add the details you want to show and save. Even if your number changes, you keep the same tag and people always see your latest card.

  • The SMS code only verifies your number. You choose whether your card shows it.
  • Got several tags? Manage them all from My cards. You can also share your card’s link and QR code.

Watch the setup

The video plays from YouTube.

They can reach you without seeing your number.

Whoever scans your card taps “Notify owner”, picks a subject and can add a short note. They don’t need to sign in. The notification is saved to your inbox, and devices where you turned on notifications get a push too.

The sender sees where their notification is

  1. Saved to inbox
  2. Seen by the owner
  3. The owner replied

When you open the notification, the sender sees it. You can also send one short reply, like “Be there in 5 minutes.” The sender can check the status on the same device for 24 hours.

Add your blood type, allergies, chronic conditions, medication, a first-aid note and up to two people to call. Whoever scans your tag can tap a relative’s number to call them.

You choose which details show on your card. Newly added allergies, medication and chronic conditions start hidden. Anything you leave visible is seen by everyone who scans your card.

Common questions

Does the person scanning need an app?

No. Most phone cameras read QR codes directly, and the card opens in the browser. As a card owner, we recommend installing the app so you get notifications easily.

Where can I get a tag? Is there a fee or subscription?

You buy the tag once. The app and card page are free, with no subscription. Write to us to ask where you can get a tag.

Where can I stick the tag?

On your key ring, bag, suitcase, helmet or business card. In a car, stick it inside the windscreen, in the upper corner on the passenger side, clear of the driver’s view.

What happens if I hide my number?

“Call” and “Save contact” disappear from your card. If you added WhatsApp by username, visitors can still write to you there. If your card accepts notifications, “Notify owner” appears too.

Who can see my details?

Anyone who scans your tag or has your card’s link sees the details you left visible. You can hide a field without deleting it, or close your card for a while.

Notifications don’t reach my phone. What should I do?

Open notification settings in the app and try “Send test notification”. If nothing arrives, check that BanaUlaş notifications are allowed in your device settings and that Do Not Disturb is off. On an iPhone using the web app, add it to your Home Screen from Safari first. Notifications are always saved to your inbox.

What if I lose my belongings?

Turn on lost mode for that card in the app, and add a note like “Reward for the finder” if you like. Lost mode also turns on the card’s notification settings. The finder sees the notice at the top of your card and notifies you with “I found something of yours”.

How can I tell a tag opens the official BanaUlaş page?

The official BanaUlaş address is shown at the top of the card page. Compare it with the address in your browser’s address bar. You can report a suspicious tag with “Report this tag” on the card page.

Can someone else edit my card?

No. Your card is tied to the number you verified when you added it. Editing it requires signing in with that number and an SMS code.

I have several tags. How do I manage them?

Open My cards in the app, or tap “Sign in” at the top of this page. Pick any card linked to your account to manage it. If an older card isn’t listed, scan its tag once.

What if my phone number changes?

In My account, use “Change my number”: verify your current number, then your new one, with SMS codes. Your cards, inbox and devices stay as they are. The number shown on your cards changes to the new one. On older-format cards, the shown number is hidden instead.

What’s the difference between hiding a card, releasing it and deleting my account?

When you hide a card, people who scan it see that it’s unavailable. Your details are kept and you can show it again any time. When you release a card, its details are deleted and the next person to scan the tag can add it to their account. If you delete your account, your cards are hidden at once. The account is deleted after 30 days, and until then you can sign in with the same number to cancel.

Which languages are supported?

Turkish and English. The card page opens in the language of the scanner’s phone.
